44 le Val St Revert
Peace and quiet, with a roof terrace view of le Mont St Michel
The lady who used to live in this house ran a small grocery store. She even had an old-fashioned cold store for keeping meat fresh.
The cottage is at the end of a cul de sac, with parking right outside the front door. Beyond the house is a crop field, so the only sounds you are likely to hear are the neighbours cutting their lawns.
Downstairs is a spacious open plan living area, with a log burner. The kitchen is through an archway and is equipped with cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, toaster, coffee maker and kettle. There’s an iron and a clothes airer for drying.
A back door leads to a patio area and a large rustic garden with an eclectic mix of trees including a pine tree and a palm tree.
Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms. The double bedroom has patio doors onto the roof terrace which has a lovely view across the hamlet to the Mont St Michel to the North and over open fields to the South. The twin room is spacious enough for an extra bed or a cot.
The bathroom has a large walk-in shower, plus a toilet and washbasin.
All of the pictures in the cottage are photos taken by us.
